It has been the mainstream form of Judaism since the 6th century CE, it set up a mode of worship and discipline, to be practiced by Jews until modern times. It is younger than Christianity, by the 6th century rabbinism had become the dominant form of Judaism and is the foundation of all forms of Judaism practiced today.
