Ok, to find the lenght of side x we are going to use the sine function:

[tex]\sin (30)=\frac{12}{x}[/tex]

Clearing x:

[tex]x=\frac{12}{\sin (30)}=\frac{12}{1/2}=24[/tex]

Finally we get that x is equal to 24.
