because fossilas need alot of earth resources and and if they werent a fraction it would impossible to live squished on earth but i really dont understand your question

we have fossils for only a fraction of things on earth because the species millions of years before us have scattered all throughout the world and thousands of yards underground so its kind of hard finding fossils
