If g(x) = 2 − 1, what is g(−2.3)?

Assuming there's an x after the 2 g(x)=2x-1 g(-2.3) is basically just putting -2.3 in the x which would be 2(-2.3)-1 which is:
-4.6-1 which is -5.6.
The final answer would be g(x)=-5.6
