[tex] \frac{8x}{4} - 48 > 4[/tex]

[tex]2x - 48 > 4[/tex]

[tex]2x > 4 + 48[/tex]

[tex]2x > 52[/tex]

[tex]x > \frac{52}{2} [/tex]
