Richard Arkwright was the founder of the factory. He was the first person to invent a machine that used a different form of power other than man. People called him the Father of the Industrial Revolution.

Richard Arkwright was very important person. He was an pioneering inventor. He is very often called 'the Father of the Industrial Revolution'. He invented many things like: the spinning frame and rotary carding engine. He is known as a creator of the modern factory system.
