How did Lord Edward Coke's interpretation of English common law lead to the creation of the Declaration of Independence?

according to lord Edward coke, common law is : most common birth right that the subject hath for the safeguard and defense, not merely his goods , lands, and revenues, but of his wife , his body , fame and life

This interpretation eventually lead to the the creation of Magna Charta which became the basis of Declaration of independenceĀ
