Answer:

Advection refers to the transport or movement of the substance or objects along with the bulk motion of the fluid. It is caused due to the velocity of the fluid.  

Whereas, convection refers to the transfer of heat due to the movement of the molecules of liquids and gases in bulk. It is caused due to the density gradients produced by the thermal gradients.
