How do you convert 10 m/s into m/minute?  Use the fact that 60 s = 1 minute to write a coversion factor, and then put that c. factor to use:

60 s = 1 min becomes

 60 s
--------
1 min

Now multiply    " 10 m/s " by this conversion factor:

10 m/s       60 sec         600 m
----------- * ----------- = ---------------- = 600 m/min (answer)
      1          1 min             1 min
