Descriptive words are words or terms that are used for elaboration in writing. When vivid/descriptive words are used, it allows the reader to clearly imagine the setting, characters, theme, etc. in literature. If descriptive words are not used, it makes it much more difficult for readers to understand and imagine a piece of writing.
