A cow produces about 11 kiloliters of milk in a year. if 40 hectoliters of that milk go into making ice cream, how much milk is left to be used in other ways?

In order for us to easily answer this problem, let us make the units uniform. So 1 kiloliter is equivalent to 10 hectoliters. This would mean that 11 kiloliters is 110 hectoliters.
