Two people are pulling a rope equally, 50N & 50N. Explain what will happen.

In theory, nothing.

Step-by-step explanation: 50N in one direction is cancelled out by 50N in the opposite direction. The two people pulling on the rope will just keep pulling until one gets tired, or the rope breaks.

There are two possibilities

1) if both the people are against eachother, then the rope would be at balance and would not move.

2) if both the people are at one side of the rope, then the rope will move in the direction of force
