[tex]b^2+36=0\\\\b^2\qquad =-36\\\\\sqrt{b^2}\quad =\sqrt{-36}\\\\|b|\qquad =\sqrt{-1\cdot 6 \cdot 6}\\\\|b|\qquad =6i\\\\\large\boxed{b \qquad=\pm 6i}\\[/tex]
