During the 1830's, President Andrew Jackson was receiving complaints that the 13 Colonies were becoming overpopulated, and people asked to move out west, which was considered dangerous due to all the Native Americans. However, with the 'Indian Removal Act', President Jackson forced all of the Native American Tribes (Mostly The Cherokee) to move anywhere west of the Mississippi River so citizens could relocate out west.
