4x − 8x= −3

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

4x−8x = −3

4x + −8x= −3

(4x + −8x) = −3 (Combine Like Terms)

−4x = −3

Step 2: Divide both sides by -4.

−4x / −4  

−3 - / −4

so your answer will be x=  3/4 .
