Weathering weakens and breaks apart rocks. This is an example of how weathering affects the Earth’s surface. The statement is True. Weathering itself is also responsible in transportation of bits of rocks that is cause from erosion. Because of this transportation of rocks, surely, this will affect Earth's surface's physical arrangement and appearance as well.
